Halloween

So, It's a little late and it's also been a while since we've blogged about anything. Halloween was fun this year. Dressing up TWO little ones was such fun. Avery was a little "baby butterfly" and Reilly was our "vampire" this year. We had a couple of times we were able to dress up. Reilly kept calling Avery a "futterfly".
We have playgroup every week and to join in on the festivities we had a fun party. We iced sugar cookies, made a spider craft out of black cardstock, black pipecleaners and googly eyes. There was also a coloring table that had cute Halloween pictures. We then had our Ward "trunk or treat" night along with a chili cookoff that I entered into. I made a venison chili from some deer meat we had in our freezer. We had fun but it was really cold and windy. Reilly kept saying "go to car". He was freezing. We had him go to a few more cars to get some candy then we finally did go home. Halloween was the next night and we went out with our neighbor across the street. I'm surprised at how long Reilly stayed out to trick or treat. In the past we've just gone up to a few of the neighbors. This year we went a whole two blocks. We had fun but in the end Reilly wanted to see Daddy.
